Woodcraft Simplifying Ecommerce For Woodcraft Delivering Product-Focused Data to Shoppers with Ease

Woodcraft, one of the nation’s oldest and largest suppliers of woodworking tools and supplies (about 20,000 SKUs, 72 retail stores, and 1.5 million mailed catalogs), needed a faster, easier omnichannel ecommerce platform to publish product-focused content and manage promotions without cumbersome development work. To solve that challenge they moved from a homegrown system to Workarea, using Workarea’s ecommerce platform and advanced content management tools (including Site Planner) to streamline content publishing and storefront management.

Workarea enabled Woodcraft to manage tens of thousands of product pages, swap how‑to articles and videos, surface shipping and stock details, and eliminate complex shipping and tax customizations—all with modular, responsive tools.
