Case Study: Reformation Reinvents Omnichannel Shopping with Workarea

A Workarea Case Study

Preview of the Reformation Case Study

How Sustainable Fashion Brand, Reformation, is Reinventing the Customer Experience Both in Store and Online

Reformation, the sustainable fashion brand, needed an ecommerce platform that could keep up with its fast-moving, tech-enabled retail experience. With products moving from sketch to store in about 30 days and a growing blend of online and in-store shopping, the company wanted a unified system that could support its “magic wardrobe” concept, mobile-first ecommerce, and real-time inventory across channels. Workarea provided the commerce platform behind this experience.

Using the Workarea platform and API, Reformation integrated its online store, in-store touchscreens, fitting-room iPads, PIM, WMS, and other systems into one real-time commerce environment. This gave the brand more flexibility to launch and customize quickly without heavy developer dependence, while improving the customer experience across channels. The results included a 32% increase in revenue year over year, a 33% increase in orders, a 37% increase in traffic, and 59% mobile revenue growth year over year.
