PGE Energetyka Kolejowa, one of the largest energy companies in Poland, faced a challenge in effectively communicating with and engaging its 5,000+ employees, particularly those working remotely across the country. The company previously relied on inefficient email and print to share information. They partnered with Workai to implement a new intranet platform to serve as a central hub for internal communication and knowledge sharing.

Workai’s solution provided an easy-to-use intranet based on a visual editor, which streamlined content creation for non-technical staff. The platform improved communications by replacing print publications with a trackable digital news source and enhanced knowledge management with tools like an ideas bank, forums, and a helpful chatbot. The mobile-responsive design ensured access for all field workers. The implementation was a major success, resulting in the intranet being named one of the top 10 in the world by the Nielsen Norman Group.
