Renal Advantage Inc., a national dialysis services provider, faced a projected 20% nursing supply gap and high employee dissatisfaction, creating urgent retention and turnover challenges. To tackle this, Renal Advantage partnered with Work Institute to conduct confidential incumbent interviews and workforce surveys to surface employee preferences, expectations and intent to leave.
Work Institute analyzed the findings, helped train supervisors, set local targets and guided action plans and pulse surveys; as a result, RAI’s rating of the company as an employer rose 22%, supervisor “excellent” ratings rose 10%, and intent to leave within one year fell from 22% to 16%. Renal Advantage Inc. continues biannual pulse surveys and was named a five‑star Certified Preferred Employer by Work Institute.
