A WordLift Case Study
Tao Roma, founded by Oscar Valentini in Rome, is a blog and small business focused on personal development through ancient Chinese disciplines like Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, and Taoist Alchemy. Its challenge was to turn a content blog into a stronger business and educational platform that could attract more relevant visitors, improve SEO, and make its themes easier for both people and search engines to understand.
WordLift helped Tao Roma organize its content with semantic SEO by building a vocabulary of entities, linking articles to those concepts, and publishing structured data in JSON-LD connected to DBpedia and schema.org. The results were strong: Tao Roma saw a 42%+ increase in new users from Google organic search, an 88%+ increase in monthly pageviews, a 36.22% increase in new sessions from organic search versus a benchmark, and a 17.27% increase in average time on page.
