Skimium a more efficient, geolocated purchasing process

Skimium, a French ski equipment rental platform and partner of Decathlon, faced the challenge of creating a more efficient and user-friendly geolocation experience for its customers to find rental stores across 250 ski resorts. Their previous mapping solution was inflexible, and they needed to reduce the bounce rate on their site by providing accurate, interactive maps that highlighted their brand. They turned to the vendor Woosmap and implemented its Store Locator and Stores products to address these issues.

Woosmap provided Skimium with a highly customizable and familiar Google Maps-based solution, which was integrated simply and without issues. The implementation of Woosmap's Store Search API allowed for exact geolocation of points of sale and delivery points. The results were extremely positive: Skimium eliminated customer difficulties in finding store locations, created a more immersive journey, and saw a lower internet user bounce rate, ultimately improving the efficiency of their geolocated purchasing process.
