Holland & Barrett improving customer experience in omnichannel retail with the location of wellness stores

Holland & Barrett, the UK's leading health and wellbeing retailer, sought to modernize its omnichannel customer experience, particularly for click-and-collect orders. The challenge was to integrate new digital tools with its legacy technology stack to make it simpler for customers to find store information, check product availability, and discover in-store services. To address this, they partnered with the vendor Woosmap and utilized its Store Search API.

Woosmap provided an easy-to-integrate API solution that powered a new store locator and checkout journey on Holland & Barrett's rebuilt ecommerce website. This implementation allowed the retailer to clearly display store features, services, and real-time stock levels on a digital map. The results were a substantial push-up in click-and-collect orders, which now account for 20% of all orders, and a measurable increase in footfall traffic from the website to its physical stores.
