Unrest Coffee - Customer Case Study

Unrest Coffee is a small-batch roaster in Hampden, ME, family-owned by Brian and Gretchen Keezer since 2019. The business relied mainly on wholesale accounts and dreamed of a retail presence, but needed a more flexible, affordable online solution to ship coffee nationwide, add products like brewing equipment and tea, and build recurring revenue without the limitations and costs they experienced on Weebly.

They migrated to WooCommerce in September 2019 and deployed extensions for payments, subscriptions, memberships, marketing, tax and accounting, and more, gaining modular control and visibility into transactions and refunds. The new store turned online sales into a major growth driver, enabled nationwide shipping, expanded product lines, boosted repeat business and subscription sign-ups, and gave the team scalable tools to grow wholesale and mail-order channels.
