A WooCommerce Case Study
DHL, the global logistics leader, faced a major challenge in its WooCommerce-enabled ecommerce channels: merchants in key regions couldn’t automatically create parcel labels, causing lost sales and limiting service availability in markets like Europe and Asia. To solve this, DHL worked with WooCommerce and Progressus on a custom plugin for WooCommerce orders, built to streamline shipping label creation and better support its merchant base.
WooCommerce and Progressus delivered a bespoke WordPress plugin that added label printing, tracking numbers, insurance options, and international duties handling directly in the WooCommerce admin. The solution expanded DHL’s service availability in Germany, was adopted by more than 6,000 businesses, and enabled over 2.4 million labels per year, helping DHL improve efficiency and grow parcel sales.
