RentmyDress is a U.S.-based marketplace founded by husband-and-wife Miguel and Yumi to let people rent or sell dresses for weddings, proms, cocktail parties and other events. Frustrated by the lack of a service where Yumi could list dresses she no longer wore, they launched a dedicated platform that targets clothing and fashion shoppers seeking affordable event outfits.

They built the site on WooCommerce with Stripe payments, developed by a WooExpert and designed by c2cg. Vendors list items for free and the platform charges a 10% service fee on rentals or sales, enabling sellers to monetize wardrobes while giving customers access to a wide range of occasion wear at a fraction of the retail cost.
