Offerman Woodshop, the woodworker collective founded by Nick Offerman, needed an ecommerce platform that could better support its growing product range, custom furniture, and sustainability-focused brand. Its original Big Cartel store had become limiting as sales increased, and the team wanted more flexibility for product configuration, storytelling, and fulfillment. WooCommerce was chosen to help meet those needs.

WooCommerce and the web studio Aveling/Ray rebuilt the store on WordPress and WooCommerce, adding a better navigation structure, reusable product content blocks, and a separate experience for custom-built pieces. The redesign also improved brand voice across the site and streamlined operations with tools like ShipStation. The result was stronger usability, faster access to key content, and marked improvements in search rankings for custom-furniture-related queries.
