Heaton Hops is an award-winning tap house and bottle shop in Stockport, UK. When the COVID-19 lockdown closed their tap room, owners Damian and Charlotte needed to pivot fast to offer local and nationwide beer deliveries and restore revenue.

Stockport designer Paul Jardine built a WooCommerce store, sticking close to default templates for speed while adding custom product listing and detail templates to highlight ABV, size and brewery, plus advanced custom fields for featured items. The site launched quickly and drove immediate results: over 1,300 visits and 12,000 page views in the first week and strong online beer sales.
