Grundéns is a 100-year-old Swedish fishing apparel brand that historically sold to professionals and wholesalers but recently expanded into direct-to-consumer sales. With rapid growth during the pandemic (30–40% uplift) and a small finance/operations team, the company needed a scalable, cost‑effective eCommerce solution that would integrate with wholesale channels, ERP, tax, payments and improve site performance and merchandising without large upfront investment.

Under Global Web Manager Brandon, Grundéns built a WooCommerce-based stack tightly integrated with WordPress and a range of best‑of‑breed tools: Yotpo for reviews, Klaviyo for email/CRM and conversion tracking, Microsoft Dynamics NAV with a custom connector for orders and inventory, Avalara for global tax/VAT, Amazon Pay/Authorize.Net for payments, and performance/search plugins like W3 Total Cache, FacetWP and InstantSearch. The approach kept costs low, reduced custom development, improved search and merchandising, automated tax and order flows, boosted conversion and revenue, and comfortably supported the recent surge in demand.
