Green Dinner Table is a New Zealand-based meal subscription service that delivers chef-designed, plant-based meal kits each Sunday, using local, in-season produce. Meta Digital built the store on WooCommerce, and faced a key challenge: create a robust subscription system that aligns every customer’s payment and delivery cycle to the same weekly cutoff (Sunday afternoons), regardless of the signup day.

Meta Digital implemented WooCommerce Subscriptions with PayPal Powered by Braintree to synchronize billing to the Sunday delivery schedule and offer flexible plans (couples or family, three or five meals). The result is a reliable, user-friendly subscription checkout and on-time weekly deliveries, making it easy for customers to cook restaurant-quality plant-based meals in about 30 minutes while reducing waste and supporting local producers.
