Animal Suits (Animal Onesies), founded by former IT consultant Mike Langford, needed to launch a niche e‑commerce store fast to sell popular Japanese animal onesies in Australia. Mike chose WordPress with WooCommerce and launched a functional store in days, initially selling 16 products via PayPal and adding plugins for SEO, shipping tracking, payment processing and affiliates as the site grew. The store expanded to 52 products, added kids’ sizes, streamlined customer communications with extensions, and leveraged WooCommerce support and freelancers for further optimisation — delivering rapid market entry, steady growth and confidence in the platform’s scalability.
