2 Hounds Design creates stylish, comfortable collars, harnesses, and leashes for medium to extra-large dogs. Founder Alisha Navarro started the company in 2003 after failing to find a martingale collar for her retired racing Greyhounds, investing $500 to make her own; the one-woman hobby grew into a team of 50+ in a 20,000 sq ft facility, driven by lean manufacturing and U.S.-sourced materials.

To scale retail and operations they launched a WooCommerce store (developed by a WooExpert, designed by Cultura Interactive) with integrations for tax, shipping, payments, product add-ons, coupons, wishlists, and order tracking. The approach delivered a reliable, safety-focused product line—including the Freedom No-Pull Harness used by shelters—sustained growth, and more than $500,000 raised for rescues in the first ten years.
