9REN Group, a renewable energy developer and operator based in Spain and Italy, needed a better way to centrally monitor its 568 photovoltaic installations across Europe and the Mideast. Wonderware West implemented a real-time monitoring solution built on Wonderware System Platform, creating the EOSystem to unify control and reporting across 9REN’s sites. The results included a 50% increase in event recognition, a 5% boost in solar tracking performance, and a reduction in report generation time from one month to just two days, while also enabling one person to oversee all 568 plants and lowering operational and maintenance costs.
