A Wonderlic Case Study
The Open Door of Delta is a non-profit that helps people achieve self-sufficiency through mentoring, education, financial literacy and housing. When board members launched The Bridge Center to provide GED prep and job-readiness skills, they found their existing GED prep test unsatisfactory and wanted a better, computer-based solution as the GED moved digital.
They adopted GAIN, a computer-based assessment that provides individualized reports students use to target study areas. Volunteers use those reports in class and students value the clear guidance; as a result, 100% of the students tested with GAIN passed their GED. The organization is now planning to add Wonderlic work-readiness and behavioral assessments to better prepare clients for employment.
