Stewart and Kathryn Guthrie opened Real Property Management’s Sac-Metro franchise in 2009 and quickly grew to three locations. Because RPM hires entry‑level staff who must learn fast, adapt, and cross‑train, the Guthries were inundated with hundreds of unqualified applicants and spent excessive time interviewing the wrong people.

In 2012 they added Wonderlic’s WPT‑Q and WPT‑R tests to their online application process, which reduced applicant volume while prequalifying candidates. The tests sped hiring, improved hire quality and on‑the‑job success, and are now used for both employees and contract workers as a core part of their management process.
