GRN Tampa, a franchise of Global Recruiters Network founded by Bret Winholtz in 2003, faced a hiring challenge: with thousands of applicants for roles that require both sales acumen and project-management skills, manual vetting made it difficult to determine who could meet sales quotas and handle the pressure of a sales position. As the team grew from one to 12 employees and continued recruiting, Bret needed a reliable way to identify candidates who could both close business and fit the team.

GRN Tampa implemented Wonderlic assessments—the WPT‑R for cognitive ability, the CPP for call courage, rejection resilience and team fit, and later the MPA to measure motivation drivers. These tools streamlined screening, guided behavioral interview questions, and helped Bret learn from past hires, resulting in more accurate hiring decisions and a more comprehensive, consistent selection process than previous methods.
