Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions implemented automated interactive voice response (IVR) calls to referred patients, allowing those interested to transfer directly to scheduling and sending all scheduled patients EmmiEngage procedure-preparation content. The results were strong: UAB connected with referred patients within 24 hours instead of more than a week, 59% of 2,748 patients were reached by IVR within 24 hours, 78% of reached patients requested scheduling transfer, and patients who interacted with the IVR were 6% more likely to start the prep program.
