Leveraging Technology to Advance Supply Chain Sustainability

The customer, Wilmar, Inc., a major agribusiness, needed a user-friendly, secure SaaS tool to scale up engagement with its global network of suppliers and ensure their compliance with its No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE) policy. They turned to vendor Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions and utilized the Enablon Connect supplier portal to address this challenge.

Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions implemented the Supplier Reporting Tool (SRT) on the Enablon Connect portal, which automated supplier self-assessments and generated automated feedback and action plans. This solution enabled Wilmar to efficiently identify at-risk suppliers and drive continuous improvement. The measurable results included 916 suppliers registered in the system and 1,484 completed SRT reports submitted, allowing for more informed decision-making and effective planning of supplier engagement activities.
