Mayo Clinic - Customer Case Study

The Mayo Clinic, represented by physician Tim Shine, needed to fit complex physiological data from blood pressure curves to a theoretical model. This required the ability to define and manipulate numerous parameters to achieve an accurate representation of the data, a significant analytical challenge.

Using Wolfram's Mathematica software, Dr. Shine was able to efficiently run multiple experiments and adjust his model using the Manipulate command, despite having no prior programming background. The solution provided by Wolfram added new precision and accuracy to his research, broadening his insight into the data. He anticipates this work will lead to the development of an elasticity index that could ultimately improve blood pressure treatment and management for the general public.
