Enova - Customer Case Study

Enova, an online financial services company, faced a challenge with its lengthy, multi-stage software deployment system named Colossus. Their Chief Architect, Chad Slaughter, needed a solution to handle hundreds of thousands of data points and significantly shorten the development time that was required when models had to be coded by engineers after being developed by analytics.

The company implemented Wolfram's Mathematica and the Wolfram Language to streamline its process. This single system replaced the need for multiple languages like SAS, Python, Ruby, and C++, allowing for rapid prototyping and development. The Wolfram solution enabled Enova to process vast amounts of data and dramatically reduced the lines of code needed, from several hundred in C++ to less than five in Mathematica to achieve interesting results.
