A Wolfram Case Study
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev needed a tightly integrated tool to teach an engineering course, moving it beyond traditional whiteboard lectures. The challenge for Dr. Yehuda Ben-Shimol was to find a solution that could document interactive models within lecture notes and allow students to investigate their own models for a virtual lab experience.
The vendor, Wolfram, provided a solution using Mathematica and Wolfram System Modeler. This allowed the creation of computerized models for every concept and enabled students to use hierarchical modeling. The results were a more engaging and exciting course for students, who could now construct all system modulators and demodulators without working through basic component-level equations, revolutionizing the instructional approach.
