Spectrum, a long-established CAD/CAM engineering and manufacturing firm, was struggling with on-time delivery in the ~70% range and sought to improve customer satisfaction and profitability. To address this, Spectrum partnered with WM Synergy and engaged WM Synergy’s Strategic Business Services (SBS) team to implement a Continuous Improvement Program.
WM Synergy led Business Process Mapping, Kaizen events and a Supplier Performance Management program to restructure processes and culture; as a result, Spectrum’s on-time delivery climbed from roughly 60–75% into a sustained performance consistently above 95%, driving higher customer satisfaction, new sales opportunities, reduced inventory and shorter lead times.
