FYCMA, the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, needed to host the AOTEC 2021 Trade Show safely as the first in-person event in Málaga after the pandemic. To support social distancing and reduce contagion risk, the venue turned to Wizzie Analytics and its real-time data analysis capabilities, combined with OnTrace technology.

Wizzie Analytics implemented Wizzie Data Platform with OnTrace 3D cameras and Wi-Fi data to monitor occupancy, density, visitor flows, dwell times, entrances, exits, and movement across the venue in real time. The solution also included configurable alerts, social sentiment analysis, and Wi-Fi quality monitoring, helping FYCMA control access and improve planning; the event welcomed more than 4,500 visitors, 50% more than the previous edition, and saw a 41% increase in booths compared with 2019.
