Al Huda Sisters uses WizIQ to deliver religious and Arabic language training online
Al Huda Sisters, a Dubai-based nonprofit Islamic education center led by Sophia Khan, needed a better online teaching platform after finding their previous tool, InSpeak, too limited in class size, time, and interactive features. They wanted a solution that could support students worldwide and provide more ways to teach and engage learners, and they chose WizIQ as their e-learning platform.
WizIQ enabled Al Huda Sisters to teach 24/7 with no attendee limits, allowing classes of about 45–50 students normally and around 110 during Ramadan. Using WizIQ’s whiteboard, recording tool, course creation features, and iPad app, Sophia improved student participation, expanded access for those unable to attend live, and helped teachers become more computer savvy; WizIQ also supported better Arabic and English typing skills and made teaching more flexible and effective.
