Wizeline Scales Up the Data and Analytics Capabilities of an Innovative Car Rental Enterprise

Wizeline worked with Car Rental Company (CRC), a Mexico-based enterprise that rents and tracks more than 20,000 vehicles for over 1,000 clients. CRC needed to replace an outdated technology platform so it could ingest growing volumes of GPS and telemetry data, scale to more devices, and give users real-time monitoring, alerts, and reporting through a modern web platform.

Wizeline built a cloud-based AWS solution using a microservices architecture with services such as Amazon Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, WAF, Cognito, Kinesis, S3, Glacier, CloudWatch, Aurora MySQL, and NLB. The new platform improved scalability, availability, reliability, security, and maintainability, while enabling better data insights, serverless-style ingestion at scale, and DevOps practices like CI/CD, IaC, and observability.
