Expanding AirAsia’s Industry-Leading Super App to Increase Revenue with Bundled Flights & Hotels

AirAsia Super App partnered with Wizeline to expand its super app beyond flights into hotel booking and bundled flight-and-hotel offers. The challenge was to replace a third-party white-labeled app with new native and web experiences that could be integrated into the existing iOS and Android super app, all within tight launch timelines.

Wizeline used Agile methodology and Google Cloud Platform, building SNAP and Hotel with React and React Native, reusable components, resilient architecture, and automated testing. The result was a fast cross-platform launch that met technical KPIs and drove early demand, including more than 2,000 bookings in just four hours during promotional flash sales.
