Enhancing the USC Tailgate Reservations Platform With Bug Fixes & Improved Features

The University of Southern California (USC) worked with Wizeline to design and develop a tailgate reservations platform to streamline booking for home football games. After launch, USC wanted to address bugs, improve the customer experience, and keep the platform adaptable as tailgating rules changed, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Wizeline fixed key issues in the application, including payment errors, missing confirmation emails, database dependency problems, and admin workflow bugs, while also adding improved features like multi-select, purchase history, and reservation warnings. The results included a 46% increase in bookings, up to 75% less labor time, and a reduction in group reservation booking time from 20–25 minutes to just a few minutes per game, helping USC manage tailgating more efficiently and safely.
