Delivering Fitz Frames’ 3D-Printed Glasses for Kids Through Innovative Product Development

Fitz Frames, a Los Angeles-based startup creating custom 3D-printed glasses for kids, needed a way to make eyewear fitting easier, more accurate, and more fun for families—without requiring a trip to the optometrist. The company wanted to solve a difficult challenge: capturing facial measurements, offering personalized frame styles, and supporting a highly complex order and fulfillment process for children’s prescription glasses.

Wizeline helped Fitz Frames design and build the end-to-end product, including an iOS app, AWS-backed microservices, augmented reality features, machine-learning support, and integrations for 3D printing, lenses, shipping, and order management. Wizeline brought a cross-functional team to take the product from concept to App Store launch in about 22 weeks, enabling Fitz Frames to become the only provider offering facial measurement and custom style at an affordable price point.
