Building a Tailgate Reservations Platform to Enhance the USC Trojan Game Day Experience

The University of Southern California (USC) partnered with Wizeline to solve a manual, time-consuming tailgate reservation process for home football games. USC’s old system relied on Google forms, spreadsheets, and lots of email coordination, creating heavy labor demands and making it difficult to manage game day operations and maintain a family-friendly tailgating environment.

Wizeline designed and developed a tailgate reservations platform with separate visitor and admin web apps, dynamic maps, and season-pass booking capabilities. The solution increased bookings by 46%, cut labor time from 60+ hours a week to 15–25 hours, reduced group booking time from 20–25 minutes to just a few minutes, and eliminated hundreds of weekly questions, while also improving revenue and reporting.
