Salins thwarts two targeted attacks with WithSecure™ sensors

The Salins Group, a major European salt producer, faced challenges ensuring GDPR compliance and detecting sophisticated zero-day attacks. To address this, they turned to their long-time vendor, WithSecure, to test the WithSecure Elements Vulnerability Management scanner and the WithSecure Managed Detection and Response service.

WithSecure deployed lightweight sensors across the company's European sites, which were monitored by its Service Operations Center. The solution achieved a 10% false positive rate and successfully contained two targeted attacks that had bypassed other security measures. This provided the Salins Group with the visibility and rapid response capability needed to protect its critical business data.
