Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) is a nonprofit food bank serving metro Atlanta and north Georgia, distributing more than 50 million pounds of donated food and groceries each year to partner agencies and the people they support. As a WiSys customer using Exact Macola, ACFB needed better control over inventory and order fulfillment across a complex operation with volunteers, staff, trucks, and a large warehouse.

WiSys implemented warehouse and supply chain management tools that helped ACFB better manage inventory, improve labeling and barcode scanning, and raise its fill rate dramatically after deployment. The improved fill rate meant more accurate orders for partner agencies and more food reaching families in need, while ACFB’s distribution model also leveraged every donated dollar into $9.21 worth of grocery products, with 94 cents of each dollar going directly to fighting hunger.
