Brand Hydraulics, a long-standing manufacturer of hydraulic valves, needed a better way to manage warehouse and production inventory. Its disconnected Access databases and manual tracking processes were not integrated with its Macola ERP system, leading to poor accuracy, low employee confidence, and wasted time locating materials across multiple warehouse and production areas. WiSys provided the WMS and Production Order Work Center Reporting tools used to address these challenges.

Brand Hydraulics implemented WiSys Pocket ES WMS in receiving and put-away, then deployed WiSys POP+ in machine shop and assembly operations to track materials, stage W.I.P. inventory, and back-flush components in real time. With WiSys, the company now tracks inventory to the bin level, can quickly locate items throughout the plant, and has greatly simplified production reporting. The case study reports improved inventory accuracy, better visibility into shortages and affected production orders, and stronger confidence from floor staff, though no hard numeric ROI was provided.
