Mexican Cooking Network, founded by Marcelino Raygoza, wanted to combine traditional Mexican cooking content with e-commerce so viewers could watch recipe videos and buy the ingredients or cookware featured on the site. The challenge was creating a seamless shopping experience that kept customers engaged without leaving the page, using Wistia video tools and viewer metrics.

Wistia helped power the interactive video experience through its Player API, which Marc used to build a shopping cart integration in about a week. The result was a real-time side panel with product links and descriptions that made the site more entertaining and educational, while improving engagement and supporting ongoing plans to license the platform to other sellers.
