CoSchedule, a North Dakota–based SaaS that helps marketing teams organize social, content, and project work, needed a better way to demonstrate the full value of its many features. Because the product is broad and constantly evolving, short, engaging explanations and demos were hard to produce consistently at scale.
They launched “CoSchedule Academy,” using Soapbox for quick webcam + screen recordings and Wistia for hosting. Soapbox enabled the whole marketing team to create monthly 7–8 video courses without videography experience, saving designers about 15–25 hours per month, while Wistia makes updating demos across the site simple. CoSchedule tracks views and drop-off data to refine topics, improve retention, and better showcase product value.
