Increasing Brand Awareness to a Targeted Demographic

VerveGirl, a teen and early-20s magazine for females 13–24, needed to boost brand awareness for its client, New York Color, with a digital-friendly campaign that would also engage its readers. To do that, VerveGirl turned to Wishpond and its Video Vote Contest / Social Voting tools.

Wishpond helped VerveGirl launch a two-week, mobile-enabled video contest featuring beauty vlogger how-to videos, with voting and daily Facebook-like prizes promoted through Facebook and Twitter. The campaign drew over 1,400 participants, reached a potential audience of more than 500,000, increased website traffic by over 30%, and kept users engaged for more than 5 minutes per visit.
