Go Eco, the volunteer abroad organization, wanted to build brand awareness, generate leads, and boost engagement on Instagram after its follower growth had been slower than expected. To drive a fun, interactive campaign, Go Eco used Wishpond’s Instagram Hashtag Contest app for its “Animal Selfie #GoEcontest” promotion.

Wishpond helped Go Eco embed the contest on its website, manage and moderate entries, and let visitors vote on submissions. In just over two weeks, the campaign delivered a 33% increase in Instagram followers, 2,358 votes, and 552 new leads, along with more comments, interactions, and website visits.
