Compliant Customs, founded in 2009 by Clint Latta, is a wholesale customs clearance and consultancy firm serving over 100 freight forwarders across Australia and New Zealand. The business made growth possible by bundling consultancy with customs processing, but scaling a high-volume, low-margin service created challenges around automation, process efficiency and the risks of offshoring sensitive work.

To meet those challenges they standardized on CargoWise One, moved to paperless workflows, opened their own Manila office to retain control over hiring and training, and engaged a WiseService partner to fast-track productivity. The result was seamless cloud-based operations across Manila, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, more than 60 staff in Manila (projected 100), estimated productivity gains of over 25%, reduced headcount pressure and freed capacity for higher-value, client-facing work.
