Fond du Lac Cold Storage Taps Wise Systems for Temperature-Controlled Delivery Fleet

Fond du Lac Cold Storage (FDL), a leading temperature-controlled 3PL based in Edison, NJ, needed to replace its legacy Roadnet routing platform to simplify planning, improve customer service, and reduce daily routing time for its fleet of temperature-controlled trucks. After evaluating options, FDL selected Wise Systems’ delivery automation platform and integrated it with its Argos / ABECAS Insight ERP/WMS to give planners, dispatchers, drivers, and customers a cloud-based, role-specific solution.

Wise Systems deployed Route Planner, Dispatcher, Driver, and Customer Portal apps, enabling automatic mid-day rerouting, real-time order status, and full visibility into driver location and stop information. The switch to Wise Systems reduced daily routing time, raised already strong on-time delivery percentages, improved customer service response times, and increased delivery compliance—helping FDL strengthen customer relationships and win new business even amid pandemic-driven remote onboarding.
