BBB National Programs leverages WireWheel to deliver an innovative privacy certification service to improve vendor data privacy and security accountability

BBB National Programs needed a scalable, flexible platform to run its global privacy certification programs (APEC CBPR, PRP and its Vendor Privacy Program) across organizations from SMBs to Fortune 100s while keeping workflows and UX simple for annual reviews and complex privacy requirements. To meet that need, BBB National Programs partnered with Wirewheel and deployed Wirewheel’s Privacy Operations Manager (POM) to support certification administration, intuitive participant guidance, and standardized workflows.

Wirewheel implemented POM with self‑scaling infrastructure, configurable questionnaires, built‑in chat/help text, automated annual reviews and an auto‑generated Findings Report to move the program off manual processes. As a result, Wirewheel enabled reduced costs to scale the certification program, automation to operationalize compliance reviews, flexibility to create custom questionnaires and reports, and the scalability to serve customers large and small—while enhancing consumer trust through third‑party dispute resolution tied to the certification seal.
