Cardiosos, a leading provider of cardioprotection services and training, needed to ensure the optimal and seamless operation of its Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) installed across communities and at large events. Their challenge was to monitor these life-saving devices in real-time for any malfunctions or issues that could impact their performance during an emergency. They partnered with vendor Wireless Logic to implement a solution using their M2M SIM cards for connectivity.

Wireless Logic's solution provided the critical connectivity for real-time monitoring of AED cabinets, instantly transmitting data on device status and environmental conditions to a central command. This allowed Cardiosos to immediately detect and respond to any problems. The M2M SIMs also enabled hands-free emergency communication from the cabinets.
