Beeotopia, a company specializing in sustainable vertical planting systems, faced the challenge of implementing a fail-safe, self-sufficient data connection for networking the sensors of its automatic irrigation and fertilization system at a Federal Garden Show. Without access to an existing WLAN, they needed a reliable solution to manage the project remotely. They partnered with vendor Wireless Logic to address this challenge.

Wireless Logic implemented a solution using its mdex SIM with a fixed IP, delivered via a Teltonika RUT240 IoT router. This provided the stable cellular connectivity needed for intelligent sensor control and remote management. The result was a successfully networked vertical planting project that enhances urban spaces through evaporative cooling, which can lower ambient temperatures by three to five degrees, and by providing insulating effects that can eliminate the need for air conditioning. Wireless Logic's scalable solution is also ready for Beeotopia's future projects.
