Case Study: Project Home Again increases capacity with Wired Impact

A Wired Impact Case Study

Project Home Again boosts capacity with Wired Impact, driving 476 donation pickup requests

Project Home Again, a nonprofit providing recycled household goods to low-income families, faced a challenge of limited capacity with only one staff member and one volunteer. Manual processes like lengthy email chains and constant phone calls about hours and donations were consuming their time. They needed a website to work harder for them but lacked technical expertise. They partnered with Wired Impact to build a new site.

Wired Impact implemented a solution using custom forms and an event system to automate donation pickup requests and promote drives. This eliminated repetitive communication. As a result, Project Home Again significantly increased capacity, achieving 96 volunteer signups, 150 new partners, and 476 donation pickup requests in the first year. Wired Impact's website freed the team to focus on clients, grant writing, and marketing.
