The customer, DNB, a leading Scandinavian bank, faced the challenge of low activation rates for its new debit and credit cards. Busy customers were not completing the activation process, which led to reduced revenues and a risk of customer attrition. DNB partnered with the vendor Wiraya to find a more effective method for Mobile Customer Activation to engage both new and inactive customers.

Wiraya implemented a solution using personalized, automated messages delivered via voice and text. This communication was triggered in real-time based on customer behavior to guide them through a smooth activation process. The results were significant: Wiraya's solution reached 90% of the target group and achieved a 98% increase in activations compared to the control group. Consequently, DNB chose to continue and expand the program with Wiraya.
