A global energy management firm sought to move from numerous country-specific IT systems to a single, centralized core system to reduce costs and improve global monitoring and customer satisfaction. The firm, a European multinational with over 150,000 employees, needed to harmonize its diverse processes, particularly to support its mergers and acquisitions strategy. Wipro implemented its "Factory Model" approach as part of the Bridge Program, a large-scale SAP deployment. This solution featured a centralized governance model and hub-and-spoke deployment teams to roll out a standardized SAP template across 77 countries. The results were significant, including a 30% reduction in deployment costs, a 15-20% reduction in deployment lead time, a 25% reduction in engineer-to-order cycle time, and improved master data quality.
