Leading Global Financial Institution, a global investment banking, asset management, and wealth management firm, was struggling with an aging legacy clearing and settlement (C&S) system that was costly to maintain, difficult to scale, and too inflexible for rapidly changing market demands. It needed a modern platform to improve operational efficiency, reduce technology risk, and better support high-volume post-trade processing.

Wipro replaced the legacy system with a next-generation C&S platform built using an Agile, offshore-onshore delivery model and optimized with six sigma methods. The new solution added straight-through processing, stronger controls, and integrated confirmations, settlement, reporting, and exception management, enabling the bank to process more than a million trades per day with about 99% accuracy, faster time-to-market, and greater transparency and risk visibility.
