JTI, a global tobacco company operating in 130 markets, was in the middle of a broad Business Platform Modernization program but needed help reducing IT firefighting and improving delivery quality across its worldwide operations. To support that transformation, JTI brought in Wipro to manage global data center and cloud services at scale, along with support for SAP and other strategic platform initiatives.

Wipro onboarded in just 2½ months and helped stabilize JTI’s services with no disruption to operations. The result was a sharp drop in Priority 1 incidents and a reduction in the incident/change backlog, while JTI also gained a more reliable, cloud-ready foundation to support future digital, AI, and industry 4.0 initiatives.
